Why prepare

Know your accounts
List every business bank account, credit card, loan and merchant processor, with the month you last reconciled each.
Know your volume
Estimate transactions per month. Your bank statements give a quick count.
Know your deadline
Tax extension date, loan application or other external deadline. Share it upfront.
Know your access
Confirm you are the admin on your accounting software and can invite a new user.
